At the moment my practise has moved into three courses, exploring fire within the art world, print making and ceramics.
I am looking into the textures of fire that I can recreate through different mediums. So far the best way I have discovered is to soak paper in watered down Indian Ink, that once removed and dried has a charcoal texture look to it.
My printmaking has focused on dying flowers, arranging them to create Riso prints in orange and black.
Lastly, I have been practising throwing pots on the wheel. Most successfully creating plates and with designs etched into them of dying carnations.
